September 16th we left the coast heading East to the Sierra's - Pinnacle National Monument and Yosemite... Mormon's Metalmark was one of the highlights |

| September 18th we Worked the White Mountain region and the Bristle cone Pine Forest. Chuckar was added to the trip list as were Pinyon Jay, Hermit Thrush, White-breasted Nuthatch, Western Coyote. We spent a lot of time traveling today so not many photos to share. This was the last day our good friend and travel companion James Mallet will be birding with us as he has business in San Francisco.
